eXcentive

Unconventional fork for motorcycles, designed and patented by eXcent. This is an alternative solution to the classic telescopic fork. Made of a bendable quadrilateral fork under the steering column.

Increased responsiveness when cornering

Precision of guidance

Reduced braking distance

Enhanced motorbike stability under braking

This project was born from the amazing encounter between an inventor Vincent Lavabre, an industrial engineering company eXcent, Michel Mousseigne, a teacher and researcher at Paul Sabatier University, a team of enthusiasts called TTS (Team Thomas Superpole) and Kawasaki, the famous Japanese manufacturer.

For several years, eXcent has been a partner of a team competing in the World Endurance Motorcycle Championships, optimising the settings of the eXcentive fork and showcasing its innovative and unconventional technology.

Follow the feats

of the fork on

In 2018 and 2019, the Kawasaki ZX-10R motorbike equipped with the eXcentive fork finished 1st in its Experimental class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans Moto. The eXcentive fork thus demonstrates its capabilities in endurance racing.
