In 1997, the outsourcing of welding work by the leading gas distributor opened the market to public works companies. This was an opportunity for eXcent to use its experience in aeronautics to launch an innovative range of pipe positioning tools.
By relying on its industrial skills, eXcent has set itself apart from the competition: its tools are made of cast aluminum and use rapid clamping systems that are totally different from what was done until then.
In July 2012 eXcent expanded and integrated the Sensco brand, to expand its tooling range with new positioners and tube crushers.
