“Graduated from a pro license in digital modeling, I joined eXcent 6 months after the end of my studies, in 2012. I started for a year on projects Snecma 2D draftsman. During this period, I had the opportunity to spend two months with the client in support of the control teams. Even if I can not spend my life in technical assistance, it was very interesting to spend “client side” and get to know my interlocutors better. At the end of the project, eXcent offered me to join its team dedicated to small tools of Airbus as a draftsman.
What I like about this job is the diversity of the projects we work on: on average we change projects every week! I do 3D, 2D, monitoring, documentation … and all this in a great atmosphere with a great team spirit! We are 5 designers and 5 engineers so it’s like an SME within a large group. “
MISSIONS :
In the context of a design project and from a set of specifications, the draftsman draws on a Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software mechanical assemblies (parts, subassemblies, tools, special machines …). It analyzes the specifications, draws up a preliminary draft and then ensures the dimensioning, the establishment of nomenclatures, the functional rating. He knows how to justify his technical orientations.
